a bit of help

hey guys, i recently got a golf mk1 an am loving it, but i need help with a few things. im currently living over in australia so as you can imagine its hard to get help and misc parts for it. i was wondering if any of you guys know of any web sites in the uk you can mail order from because i have relatives there and it will work out easier for me to get parts. im only looking for small fiddly stuff like a new alloy areal, dark or red tinted rear lights, fuel filler caps etc. also id like a web site to find a rear bumper for it too. any help would be appreciated cheers sam

Hi sam, welcome to the site by the way and I'm sure there can be lots of help and information on here so stick around. As for the websites you require I think your best bet would be to go to this sites main home page which is www.golfgti.co.uk and at the bottom there are loads of useful links to other sites so I'm sure you will find something in there. Another useful site that's come to light recently is this one www.golfmk1.co.uk not sure if they deliver to Australia but they might be able to find some of the more sought after parts. These are on the main site links anyway but you could try these first for your bits and bobs www.awesome-gti.co.uk or www.trimsport.co.uk awsome-gti tend to be quite expensive though when I've bought anything off them.? Here's another one that people on here use too www.gpcvwaudi.co.uk if you need anymore info then just ask and someone on here will reply.?
