I almost forgot a couple of very important things:

1st: Thx to ya'll for the warm welcome

2nd: A brief list of the jobs on my car

It's a GTI 1.8T from 99, with 150k kilometers on the clock (dunno how to convert in miles sorry )

When i bought it..she was like this:

Note the t**d coloured wooden parts  they were horrible..i can't understand why they put wood on the GTI versions..

The day after i start to do some shopping..

I just ordered the wheels and the Weitec coilovers

Here's a pic of one of my rims, fresh out of the box:

The rims are Barracuda VR5's, in two different width: 8.5 x 18 for the front and 9.5 x 18 for the back
I have Falken tyres, 215/40 R18 on the front and 235/35 R18 for the back. The /35 for the back is in order to match the diameter of the front wheels, due to the difference in size.

one of the rear wheels

then i did a big service, belts, engine and gearbox oil, filters, spark plugs etc etc..
I had also a 2 din Alpine car stereo..but i was very unlucky  this stereo is full of troubles, it get stucked many times, when i tried to swap songs form my iPod..and the multifunction wheel doesn't work properly

For my luck, i still had my X305, that works just fine..so i sent on repair the new W404R and fitted back my X305..both of them they just work with external devices, they haven't any player inside..but i like so since i use only my iPod in car..and on those Alpine's looks great! The interface is cool, you can dial with the same functions you get on your ipod/iphone, such playlists, artists, audiobooks..on the W404 even the videos!

Now i dunno what i'll do when the 404 come back..i think i'll left in on the shop, on sale..and using the 2nd DIN space to fit 3 gauges (boost, oil temp and oil press..)..since i'm not happy of this stereo..it sounds great but..i never came across in many years of using Alpine's..in a row of bad working things like in this one

Any suggestion for some gauges that they match the instruments lights of our car? I wonder if there's any with the numbers in blue and red gauges..

Now you have some more detail about my little baby..that's my 5th Golf, and i just love them..i had two Mk 1 GTI's (one of 79 and one 81), an Mk III VR6, an Mk IV V5 GTI 5 doors (until here they were all in black) and now this baby in blue and 3 doors.. :smug:
