boy racers never learn!  this kind of thing happens all the time.  no car could save u.  it just proves that a golf gti/gtd is a beast..... u have to tame the beast, or it'll succumb you..

that can't be a gtd, they don't go quick enough to cause that kind of damage in an accident

Here's a thought.

If I understand it correctly the GTD crashed into a tree.

A GTD provides increased mpg and decreased co2. This has been attributed to being beneficial for the environment. Being good for the environment increases the abundance of wildlife.

On the other hand the GTI has decreased mpg and increased co2. This is bad for the environment. This kills trees.

Moral of the story?

If the guy was in a GTI then the tree would have been killed by co2 and therefore not in existence to ruin his car  :laugh:
