insurance which require no copy of licence!
« on: 20 May 2010, 03:08 »
as above i got done last year for no insurance which was an honest mistake and dont want to be penalised for this. I know its wrong but i am going to lie about the points on my license and risk it as i hardly use the car and dont want to pay 900 instead of around 200 for the sake of bullsh!t bureacracy! Can anyone Tell me a good company which dont require you to send off your license to proof no points etc.

I realize this is unscrupulous, but its the risk i am prepared to take and i am sick of beign victim to bullsh!t harsh laws with no tolerance! I am currently living in NZ and their laws are even worse thatn ours! I recently got fined 150 bucks for not indicating at 11 at night, I realize it is wrong i was tired and got penalised as much as someone who speeds! Where is it going to end! Thanks
i must buy a new car!

im with privalige and they didnt require a copy of my licence altho you are takin a very big risk i.e your in any kind of accident your insurance will be void , but surely if your living in nz then most u.k insurance companys will not be of any use to you over there?  :undecided:

So let me get this right; you've already been caught without insurance once, but instead of facing up to what you've done your going to commit fraud (and post on a public forum that you intend to do this!), by lying to your insurance company to reduce your own premium.

This will then invalidate your insurance meaning if (or more probably when) you have an accident your will not be insured!

So thanks to you, the rest of us (who work hard to pay our ridiculous premuims!) will end up being penalised instead!

Don't be a selfish tw@t, man up to what you've done and don't try and cheat the system  :lipsrsealed:

Couldn't agree with Dom069 enough on this one. Most insurance companies will not ask for your licence when you take out the policy. But if you have an accident then they will ask for it anyway regardless of who you use. I just hope for your sake that you never have an accident involving kids or something. Could you live with yourself ????  It's only your fault you got done for no insurance and your premiums should go through the roof because of this. If you get caught again it will be a ban this time and I for one hope you do get caught and took off the roads. As Dom069 say's why should everyone else suffer because of idiots like yourself.

I see your point. Don't judge me as i have always had an insurance policy and people who blatantly don't have insurance annoy me too.
I would be merely taking a risk myself. I never thought of it that way if i killed someone, i would never live with myself. The fact i got caught was only because the policy i had was void because i sold the car which i did not realize.

Here in NZ you dont even have to have third party insurance, so if i were to knock someone over  here, i would be able to live with myself because its not obligatory to have insurance.

So guess i will have to man up then. I have got a better quote than i thought anyway. The only reason i got done for no insurance is the fact i had a policy but sold the car and was driving my mothers thinking it was still covered on that original policy my fault but annoying as i didnt realize.
