No not really, are you sure you want to get it done?
I'd wait until you've seen another with it's roof done, then you will know if you like it or not.
It's a big mod to do especially if you dont like it when it's finished, go to one of the shows and have a look round (GTI International next month is a good one)

I will certainly be doing as you suggest.

As in to apply vinyl comprendae?

Yep spot on, will cost around £50 I had my mk3 done hence why I said to try local signwriting companies.

Lots of people there have done vinyl wraps on their roofs with very positive results.
