I thought that myself when I had the Ed30, but I have to say its grown on me , now looking at the Mk5 it looks dated imo, just today alone I have seen 4gti all mk5's and look old now!!

Are you sure they wasnt MK6s? Its an easy mistake to make as we have already proven in this thread
