This months Evo also have a good section compareing the mk5 autograph 300 gti / superchip gti and a normal DSG gti its quite good actually worth a read  :smiley:

Just before I bought mine a few weeks ago, I test drove a mk5 and mk6 back to back.  Wasn't really anything in it imho, certainly not enough to justify the price difference...

well off coarse i ment mk6 i obviously just sliped when pressing 6 and pressed 5 instead youd have to be stupid to not notice the difference   :laugh:

The Mk6 always reminds me of a foetus for some reason.  Our Mk5s have lots more road presence.
One of the main points in the Autocar article is to avoid remapped cars, this is repeated a few times.
It's just as well the Bluefin allows me to reset the ECU to the original map :smug: unlike other mappers :rolleyes:
