Unclean GTI
« on: 18 May 2010, 07:09 »
There's another new GTI lives about 100 metres from me, don't know the owner but he got it just after I got mine [15 March]
I swear he's not cleaned that car since he got it, it's filthy and the tailpipes are nearly black [no chrome at all to be seen]
Now I might be a liitle anal when it comes to cleaning cars, but come on, why buy a new GTI then just leave it to collect filth?

Love to, but I don't want him to catch me taking pictures of his car, he might not be too happy about it. [He parks it outside his house]

It also upset me seeing people driving the same car as mine and not cleaning them---mad!

I just can't understand why people spend £400+ for 18 inch wheels and another couple hundred of quids for metallic paint to look good but then neglect them!

A CLEAN SKODA LOOKS BETTER THAN A DIRTY LAMBO!

I disagree. Did you buy your car because of the way it looks? or the way it drives??

granted the looks did play a part, but clean or not its the same shape.

I bought mine because of the way it looks and drives, no matter what car you have it will not look good if it's always dirty. Surely part of the fun of owning a nice motor is to be able to enjoy its looks

I wouldn't buy a car that look like a minger but drives like a F1!

I am sure you wouldn't buy a Daewoo Sedona even if it handles and can do 0-60 in 5 second!

Sorry, my previous post was c****d up, my post got mixed up with the quote. It should read simply: I bought mine because of the way it looks and drives, no matter what car you have it will not look good if it's always dirty. Surely a large part of the fun of owning a nice motor is to be able to enjoy its looks.
