It looks like this now!
LOL!!!!

Ok only joking!

I don't know what to do about the shiny surface(the masked area) I know I will drop black paint into the lettering and numbers but the surrounds I have no Idea as I've tried to polish it up and its not coming up nice enough?
Any Ideas people?

if you want it shiney then just keep going at it with wet and dry around a block
You'll get there eventually!

Yeah you know what fella? I just don't have the man hours to do it TBH.
I have a huge list of stuff still to do brakes servo and cylinder in next on the list and powers steering is still to be put back in plus loads of small bits that just take time!
I did wet and dry the shiny bit its not tto bad but have bought VHT clear laqure which I'm testing on another bit of alu to see if it reacts with the engine black paint. Otherwise if its all good hopefully it will finish the shiny part and seal up the black parts.

Well the gold one is from a german egay seller and demanded alot of money, but I think you can buy chrome or gold in cans. If that floats your boat give it a go. I bought some paint in bulk it worked out fiver a can. The hours involved to do this, thats another cost....
