I have one of his rear panels. I know a few years back you could still buy the front end panels (wings, bonnet, front panel) from VW but they have prob stopped them now which is a shame as pattern wings never fit right.

Give them a ring, they will be able to do a UK wide stock check, i know they had 1 left and 8 right mk2 wings last year and that was the whole stock at VW for the UK.
MK4 GTI T AGU, REVO Remap, BMC carbon box, Miltek cat back, Forge diverter valve, THS FR3 engine/Gbox mounts, Some random alloys, lowered on coilovers.
192bhp 212lbft torque.

i was made aware that VW deleted MK1 panels from there stock... Thats so sad 1 left wing for the mk2 in the uk!... i need a bonnet, and a wing for mine... i think my best bet is a used item although probably just as hard to find!

well 27 years plus is a long time and holding panels for a car that old.  No insentive for vw as the demand will be so low.. we love their old car more than they do!

Check the VW heritage parts website - they're re-doing quite a number of parts like these.

Sorry, can't remember the URL, but it was posted on here a while back.
