im really struggling on what alloys to get for my mk5.

i want some original vw alloys but cant find many pics with some nice ones on a silver golf.

i quite like these, anyone know about prices or anyoone got any pics on a silver golf ?



am i right that there is two types of R32 alloy aswell ?




i really like these ones.

any help would be great, cheers

I think the latter R32 ones started around 08 onwards. Are the first ones off a late GT TDI? If so you should be able to find a few pics.

Ring round the breakers yard's mate. Could prob make a set up from odd ones on the cheap if you can wait a while ?.

yeah i think i have seen the top ones off a gt tdi, white mostly. how much am i looking at from the dealers for the top ones or does anyone know of anywhere where i can get them. im trying to trall the classifieds on here and the other golf website but noone seems to be selling mk5 alloys

The first alloy you posted is the 18 inch 'Charlestone'. It came as an optional for the facelift GT models. The second alloy is the 18 inch 'Zolder' alloy from R32's earlier R32's. The last alloy changed for the 2008 MY (mid 2007), it's called the Omanyt (18 inch).

I love the wheels on that blue Golf from the .:R's altho i have to say, with the lowered look my GTi has i actually really like the Monza 2's and dont want to change them anymore.

I'd be tempted by something BBS, perhaps LM's but for now the Monza's are staying firmly put as they look spot on when parked and great when the sun hits them on the move too
