You don't have any choice - you drive a soot chucker diesel.

I have driven a GTD with DSG and it is a very nice drive, especially in London traffic. I love its torque and have no idea if it kicks out soot from its rear.

Seen a couple of these GTDs now parked up in Leeds City Centre and I must say they look very nice. It'll still sound like a tractor though first thing in the morning which is why I abandoned diesel cars for the GTi.
I managed to just about scrape 400 miles out of the beast's last tankful but it's usually getting iffy around 360 ish. The fact that I might have got an extra 150 miles out of a GTD doesn't interest me in the slightest - I know which car I will have enjoyed more!!!

Diesel brings me out in spots.
I have to faff around with rubber gloves when filling my motorhome.

(Mk5 535 miles on one tank (long mw drive), and no spots)
Currently digging a bunker.

Since I do a 60 mile daily round trip on the motorway the car does 400 miles "just about" with me driving entireley normally i.e. booting it where I can and then doing a steady **mph on the motorway. I don't have to make a point of trying o get 400 miles out of it.
