Fitted mine last night! Gotta be drilled and fixed all the way! imo
Only took half an hour in total,  Remove dead pedal panel, position, drill, fix, replace! easy! easy! easy! easy!

If you are talking about the metal foot rest plate then it has to be drill and screw fit.

If you are too lazy or don't know how to drill and screw fit it, then should you even be driving let alone driving a GTI?

Cant see what the real diffrence is apart from the stick on being piss easy to put on? This is my stick on, took 2 minutes to put on . . . .

Ive has a look on the fourm for clues but i'm either not looking hard enough or i'm being slack  :grin:

As for the footrest I got mine from a guy on the forum, proper good quality and he also does loads of different designs. Oh and he also makes the little inserts for the seat height adjuster handle. The footrest is a drill and screw job though.

If you take a look at the link, mine are exactly the same as the ones in Hurdy’s post, about 4 down. The guys name on the forum is Gulfstream drop him a PM and he will sort you out with a set for a good price.

As for the whole drill and screw v stick on, I guess if you have the DSG like me your foot will be resting on the plate a lot more than in a manual, so with a stick on it is more prone to coming off.
