From Polo to its Big Bro
« on: 10 May 2010, 12:51 »
Hey folks,

Just recieved my new Mk6 Golf GTI lastweek and i love it to shreds! Been on the forum a couple of weeks now so thought i would introduce myself. Previously owned a Polo 9n3 GTI, spent a lot of money on it and promised myself i wouldnt do the same with the same with the Golf, but already ordered a Blue Flame 3" TBE and Carbonio Induction! Next will be a REVO remap then Forge Twintercooler! Modifying is a terrible habbit i cant kick!

Cheers guys, miss my wee Polo, was such a fun car to drive

Welcome! Love the polo, whats the "step up" like? Many differences?

Totally different, comparing them both to standard set up the Polo was pretty poor, lacked any sort of pull for a turboed engine, handling was poor and didnt looked all that good campared to other baby hot hatches. But spend a little bit of money any it turned into a wee devil   Would easily take my golf on, especially off a roundabout. Use to see off Focus STs, VXRs, Golf GTIs. Am sure once i get the exhaust and filter on my Golf with a remap that will all change
