What's it worth
« on: 08 May 2010, 20:51 »
Does anyone have any idea what a black 2001 1.8t with 90k, FSH, new G60/Vr6 clutch (only 1000 miles), brand new brakes all round, new uprated bushes, recaros and sat nav would be worth ?

thanks

if the recaros are leather and the car is tidy i'd advertise it for 4.3k ono

if they're cloth recaros (in a 2001?) 3.8k ono

the mileage, fsh and new clutch are all in the car's favour, so you dont necessarily need the trinkets. You might make a couple of hundred extra quid selling leathers and satnav seperately and sticking cloth/std headunit in their place.

Either the price of second hand cars is rising, or mines worth a LOT more than I thought!

yours loses value (and cool points) for being AGU, sorry  not much though

tidy ones seem to be holding their value, people are buying mk4s again!

I just sold my last mk4 for £3250, 2001 AUM with 57k fsh. Far too cheap I guess then.

Having 37k on the clock has gotta help though.
