Mods and warranty
« on: 08 May 2010, 13:30 »
Hi all

I've been reading alot on here and other GTi forums, and there seem to be a number of people with cars under 3 years who get all kinds of mods done e.g. intercooler, exhaust etc.

How are people getting around the obvious warranty issues?  I find it difficult to justify getting anything significant changed if it invalidates the warranty?

Cheers
Matt

I didn't bother about warranty issues. As soon as the car was settled and no issues were found after I bought it new, I went straight for modifications. If you want to modify then you have to bite the bullet and be prepared for anything that comes out of it.
