How easy to split the rims is it?

Also, do you think I should polish up the middle also, may look a bit daft with just the outer bead polished up. The middle is laqured up though i think?

not sure.. i think you'd need a torx head bit and a torque wrench, possibly new bolts (you might want to have shiny new bolts to go with your shiny rims and a painted interior)

i would repaint the inner a colour you prefer... why keep it standard?

serioulsy mate, you have to be on it if you want to rock fully polished rims or they will look crap in no time

i have a job on just keeping my centre caps looking fresh and i am always cleaning my car, winter is a killer, best tghing then is to use vasaline on them, but iv since got some plastic winter caps so wont have that prob next winter

if i was you id get the full rim refurbed and paint both parts, the centre a gray or whatever colour you like and the rim silver

Meh the outer rim on most RXII's goes to poop!

thats a realy good link, but what if they the mk3 golf anni rims? 2pc? BBS RXII, the bolts on them? anyone know where you could get the bolts from? what about if the bolts snap? what do you do there then?
