"excessive"? that has to be a bad translation!

adidas, quite possibly the brand king of rebranding the same thing over and over as something new and exciting delivers what with this car? perhaps this is not one of autocar's finer features

And the point of that is?

^^^ A possible Edition 35 for 2011, perhaps? :nerd:
MKV GTI | Reflex Silver | 5-dr | Anthracite 17" | Manual | Highline MFD | Cruise | Revision 'D' DV | Dirty Pipes |

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

^^^ agreed, but the tweaks to brakes, weight saving and the semi-slicks will surely make it 'nimbler' and a better car than a standard GTI?

I can't see the point but it will be interesting to see this car. Regarding the semi-slicks there is no way I would have one. Too much rain here. :)

I'm thinking Edition 35 too.

Didn't they sort of preview the Edition 30 at Worthersee a few years back too?

So there has been an edition 25.. edition 30 and now the proposed editions 35. Is it just me or are the exclusive special editions becoming a bit common?

Soon it will be more special to have a non-special GTI
