Red mk1 golf
« on: 05 May 2010, 22:47 »
Another day, another photoshoot...
Just got home after another evening shooting some sweet cars, not really looked at the other shots yet though I knew this one was a bit of a winner before it even came off the camera.
Well pleased with the result.

Shot with Canon 400d and Sigma 18-50 lense. 1 flash (cheapo ebay jobbie) fired with cheapo ebay triggers. 2 separate exposures blended in photoshop.

A few more from that evening. Can't wait to get another flash so I can stop messing about blending different shots in PS.

loving your work... although this particular car does look very 'red'

yes, yes, i know it IS a red car... but have you upped the saturation/levels or something as there doesn't seem to be much in the way of reflection in the paintwork  :undecided:

First one in the 2nd batch is the best. Great shot and the reflections on the paint look awesome. Good stuff fella.

Thanks guys!

Guy - I know what you mean. I've left saturation alone, main adjustments were WB and a tweak of levels and exposure as one (the one from behind) was a bit dark. I did clone out a few hot spots from the flash on the paintwork which probably gives the impression of a flatter more/over saturated red. Thanks for the feedback, all appreciated!
