How come you have a spanner symbol and a star symbol, I don't! I have the square lattice grid thing both sides of my sunroof knob

That'll be the VW Phone kit - Spanner calls VW assistance, the I calls for traffic info, and the Star activates Voice commands (although Ive not set that up yet)

Wow that's neat so where does the rest of the unit hang? can you use the steering wheel buttons? what price and how easy is it to fit?

I like it, but others hate the VW kit due to minimal bluetooth support.  Yeah you can use the whell buttons and the MFD and the interface with the stereo - as for fitting, i'm sure it was easy at Wolfsburg!  (it was a factory fitted option)

is this some sort of fetish?  all this taking pictures of what-not from cupholders to headrests.  is this a turn on?  or maybe he has never owned a car.   i myself have a mark6.  but u won't see me taking pics of my ash tray with a pro slr camera.  i'll save my slr for the glamour model(i wish)
