I'd say get it slick. I umm'd and ahh'd for about 2 weeks as I had MW2 and so did you lot. Found it hard to justify the money when I already had an FPS to play with you lot.

Succumbed, bought it and not regretted it one bit. I seem to be better at it than MW2 and I just think it's a much better game. Briefly tried the Zombies bit and that's a well cool extra.

Horney your same as me mate, i'm better at the new black ops than MW2, why would that be?

For me personally I reckon on MW2 I was too heavily reliant on the heart beat sensor and that made my game really slow and got me killed alot. Kinda glad the heartbeat sensor isn;t in this game as it's made me a better player.

Last night I was amazed as I had one game where i had over 3 on the ratio thingy, I was over the moon and called it a night :grin: wanted to retire at the top of my game :grin:
I'm still quite sh*te though :grin:

Sorry but the amount of lag on most of the games is appalling. Just CBA with it. MW2 destroys it in game play, map size, weapons etc. BOPS feels like WAW with old school ww2 weapons :sad:

Wouldn't mind that's mr saying it with some games as high as 7:1 ratio...all depends on the lag though, and too many games are red dot connections :unhappy:

Ok, so do I get it or not. You have 2 hours to convince me.

As this discussion is very OMG IT'S AWESOME to OMG IT SUCKS CONNECTION IS RUBBISH!

If I get it, then no doubt I will be playing a lot with you guys that have it so convince me to spend £40 I could find other stuff to buy with.

* Me and Chuff like it and don't seem to suffer any connection probelms.
* Maps are better and bigger than MW2 (except Nuketown which is tiny but utterly awesome).
* Radio Controlled buggie bombs
* Single player is way better than MW2
* Napalm Strikes!
* Flame thrower (although other COD games may have had this, I don't know as I'm a COD newb)
* Zombies

Like I said a few posts back, I really wrangled with myself about buying it as it's not cheap, I'm skint and I already had MW2 but I do not regret it one bit. It's without a doubt my fave non racing game.

When it first came out, I lovd it - I was slaughtering others because my style has always been run'n'gun and hence others who were campers etc had to deal with that. I've seen some of them camping up on the pylon on Array. My KDRs were immense, especially as I wasn't as good on MW2.

But the issues (especially since the 'fix') are worse:
- I can no longer join any friends in a party (nor they me), unless I join the game they're in and I cross my fingers we're on the same side
- huge issues with host migration, especially when someone leaves. I've had games where everything's completed, our team has won but someone leaves, causing migration, which fails and we're back in the lobby. Without XP!
- lag issues - there's a constant tiny but noticeable lag as you play.

These are on PS3 and if they fix the game, I will return.
