Has anyone upgraded their GTD with a Bluefin remap - was it worth it!

Thanks to you I did, and as you know Admiral and Elephant came out tops. The re-map mod only cost £23 a year more!
I am with Elephant and called them the other day to change my reg to my personal one...
They charged me a £17.50 admin fee!!
Maybe a remap will only cost £23 extra, but no doubt they will another £17.50 ontop of that!

Thats's  nothing. Zurich wanted to charge me £40 for the rear LEDs!
What I did to avoid these admin costs with both Admiral and Elephant was to load up the mods I might want and then got the quote. I also got a quote without any mods. Most of the mods made little or no difference to the overall cost of the quote.
I am refining it gradually as I have until 30th May to finalise my list.

Must thank GolfTi once again for his help and advice.

Hi GolfTi.
When did you take delivery of your Golf?
It seems cars delivered in year 2010 cannot be re-mapped in the preferred way as per thread below!

Ordered shortly after release date, September delivery so one of the first.
The GTI mk6 is still showing on the Superchips website so I suppose they don't know about this yet.

Shame.
Mk7 GTI. DBP, DCC, Winter pack. Mine since new, July 2013.
GTI no. 4. Golf no. 5.  VW no. 7.

Fortunately or unfortunately, fcuk all!
Save the money (relief!), fit OEM Bi-Xenons (maybe later on if I can be bothered) and protect my warranty?
