Clutch pedal clunk

hi all.

i've tried searching but not turned anything up yet. i've noticed in the last month that when i depress the clutch pedal and release it (whether in gear or not) i can hear a clunk or nocking noise. has anyone experienced this or can they show me in the direction of a threat if one exsists. I havve an 06 gti manual.

Funny you should say that because my car started doing it aswell!  Was gonna take it into vw & get them to have a look.
Mine is a 57 plate manual

Would be interested to see if any1 knows y?  :undecided:

Does the pedal presswith littleeffort? Does the clutch seem to slip etc...what mile has the cutch done? All these make a difference
