Very funny never notice my self in the shadows (fortunatly hidden behind my Canon 450D).  I hate the way polish gets in by the letters when cleaning thats why the badge is gone, front one is still there (only cos I can't figure out how to get it off and not sure if it will leave holes).

How's your gearbox?
I think your car is pretty p!ssed off as you debadged it!
If you remove the front badge, it might blow up!

Tuesday is the day of reckoning with the gearbox.  Since I bought my GTD, I have noticed so many other GTDs on the road. White and Steel Grey. Oh and also got 60mpg the other day on a 28mile commute to work.
Got 18mpg on a 10 mile run today 'testing' my Bluefin.
Mk7 GTI. DBP, DCC, Winter pack. Mine since new, July 2013.
GTI no. 4. Golf no. 5.  VW no. 7.

and...... What's the Bluefin like?
Do you like? Does it feel faster? Is the mpg worse? Does Wolfe seem happier?
Come on. Spill the beans!

Bluefin/superchips has transformed Wolfie from a brilliant fast car into a brilliant really fast car.

You can really feel the oomph and he is much smoother to drive.

Normal driving mpg is 5% ish better, however the temptation to put your foot down is now greater and when you do the mpg goes right down.  (grins go right up though ).

Wheel spin in 1st and 2nd will take a little while to sort out and control.

Best mod ever - by far.

Insurance about the same with my new company as I was being ripped off by Direct Line who won't insure any modded cars.

Maybe I will ditch the Shark..not shure....and put the black ABT on...in its place...

Somebody adviced getting badges loose by using heat from a hairdryer....any advice would be welcome (with experience).....it has been on there for 1 month...and I hate risking damage removing it....

You may also tell me what you think of the "Shark"...if 99 percent says NOPE.....then I will know I am to influenced/blind to judge the ...uhhh....design aspect... :lipsrsealed: :smug:

I like the shark on the rear.
Not many people will know what Abt is. Either have one or the other on the rear. But as you have a lot of vested emotion in sharks, leave it on there and put the Abt badge on the front grille, that is if it does not look too over adorned. I think the Abt on the front grille will look great. So you can have your shark badge and Abt badge as long as they are separated by a car's length!

Eric, heat it up with a hairdryer and use some dental floss behind it to get the badge off if it doesn't come away easily, but work the floss against the badge, not the paintwork or you might mark it. Then you can use some alcohol to remove the residue if needed

So Erik, are you getting the Abt for free? How has this affected your insurance?
You know when you take your car in for a service, VW might update your ECU and thereby remove the Abt. I hope Abt will re-re-map it for free.
Now with Bluefin/Superchips, this is not a problem.
