Good evening all
« on: 29 April 2010, 20:18 »
Just a quick introduction of myself and my recently aquired MKIV GTI T, Have just been converted to the VW fraternity after finding a nice standard MKIV for a reasonable price. Looking at doing some decent but discreet modifications so as to make the car my own but not 1 of the boy racer style golfs that are knocking around with big lairy spoilers and excessivley loud exhausts.

any ideas on where to start with drawing more power from the engine and making it sounds a little more than a quiet standard golf would be greatley appreciated.

regards

chris

Welcome along  I'll leave it for someone with more experience to advise how to get more power as I haven't modified a car in years but back in the day, folk used to say exhaust and filter first... maybe things have moved on a bit in the last 10 years or so tho

Welcome along Tonka

You could do quite afew things really, all dependant on budget!

k+N panel filter, miltek cat back exhuast, or if you want alot more power? then your best bang for buck would be a remapp
