^^^ - I'd hope so, Brig.

Clearlly VW are keeping the BW's pretty tight right now.

If this is BW20 and you've just been told your confirmation of BW22 then there's consistency in that I should know 'in a week or two' that my BW [provisionally 24] will be confirmed.

Wooohooo, dealer just confirmed that my ordered car will include the new rear LED lights.
Build week was confirmed as BW23. Must say that I do prefer the darker R ones but definitely better than the current stock ones.
I saw somewhere that the keyless start was also being introduced, i take it life is not to kind for this to be included.

Dont be greedy.

I am pretty sure that another 2011 mod will be the new 7-speed DSG box, which can handle much more torque than the existing 6-speed one. VW is keeping pretty tight-lipped about this but it goes into the Audi TT-RS from September and is expected to be rolled out across all VW/ Audi Group cars with 170 bhp plus thereafter. It will certainly arrive by May 2011, because VW likes  to keep the number of components it needs to store in parts inventories to a minimum. Once it goes in, you essentially have the 2014 Mk VII Golf GTI minus new bodywork and 20 bhp.
Golf R - almost on order - 5-door, DSG, Rising Blue, leather, 19" alloys, RNS510 with Dynaudio, ACC, Sunroof, Parking camera and sensors, luxury pack and cruise control.

And the manual 6 speed gearbox will remain as it is as you cannot improve on perfection!
