Revo / Blueflame Exhaust Fitted
« on: 28 April 2010, 21:05 »
At the request of Sir Neil of Tornado Red GTI

Still some work to do on the tailpipe design/fitment but here's some pic's of my Revo / Blueflame Turbo Back system

The system was very hot at this stage so sticks out much further than normal

Really really impressed with the system so far, the quality of the metalwork and welding is top notch, and as for the sound

There is no getting away from it, it's a loud system, but even for me the important part on the bulk on the daily commute on the motorway there is no drone  :star:

The idle purrrrr noise, overrun popping and DSG burp are most definitely my favorite parts systems character

It looks very, very fast.
BUT, what is the ride like overall on our bad roads and at 70-80 mph is it noiser due to the bigger wheels +t yres and the louder exhaust note?

This is a the first version of the Revo BlueFlame system so has got to have some revisions done to the tail pipes before it's released to the market.

So like any other system should not normally require adjustment after fitting

Looking good and no fugly silencer box showing under the rear diffuser
Tailpipes need fitting further back and jet cut and that'll look the business, is it resonated and high flow cat ?

That's the idea for the tailpipes.

Yes it's a 100 cell high flow cat with a resonator section
