Spark plugs, leads and fuel filter

Straightforward:  what's the best plugs and leads?  OEM? 


Fuel filter: is it an easy change?

What mods have you got?

Generally speaking if you are a GTI or ED30 without a map or stage 1, then simply use OEM Bosch plugs.

If you are stage 2 or 2+ then either Denso Iridium IK24 or NGK Iridiums. These are "cooler" plugs than OEM and help reduce the possibility of detonation and overheating. :smiley:

Absolutely standard but at 45k I'm pretty sure they'll never have been changed.  OEM it is.



Fuel filter anyone?

Fuel filter is relatively easy.

It is located on the right-side of the car just in front of the fuel tank.

Just remember to fit it facing in the right direction :laugh:
