16v 9a

should i use the 2.0 9a cold start injector on a 9a/kr setup, or the 1.8 kr one? i can see a difference in the 2 in the hole size, and different part numbers.. also, after a good thrash the other day my idle screw rattled all the way out,it was stuck at 3000 rpm and i could hear it drawing air in. only thing is i dont know exactly what position it was in, i wound it right in then probably backed it off a turn? the idles bk 2 normal when warm, but is dodgey when cold, and bangs pops and misfires a bit. how much roughly does it wanna be in?

use the csv to match the engine management you are using.  replace the oring on the idle screw to stop it coming loose again, halfords do big packs of orings i believe, i got one off ebay.  Then if its on std KR management reset the idle as per the 16v setup guide in the maintenance section

nice 1, cheers mate. turns out i got bigger problems anyway, the repair that was done on my pulley and keyway hasnt lasted, it seems to have moved by about a tooth again. gonna try weldin the bastard up this weekend. f**king sick of this 16v, of the million or so journeys in it its probably only been bang on once or twice. im used to 8v power (or less), sh!t economy, crap starting, backfiring etc etc. shouldve 20valved it for the money ive ended up spending. oh well thats vw's for you....!
