+1.   It's more like facebook!! Isn't it supposed to be a forum for disscusion about your mk6 gti's . It's turning into that camp bloke louis spence's happy hour.

Fook it! i think I'll go and buy a mk5 and talk some sense on the mk5 forum!!!

Or in other words Ill go buy a mk5 and then complain about everything that has went wrong with it and why I wish I had a mk6  . Nah I can understand what you mean but tbh I think a bit of banter on the forum's is great fun.

As an update to my mods... waited in all morning like a small boy waiting on the postman from UPS to come. Around 3pm he came. (looking strangely like a 'she') Anyway I opened up my box and in it was my Intake system. 

Spent the last wee while stripping out the OEM intake and installing the new one. I have noticed though that it sits quite loosley in the engine bay as there are no supports for the new system  . Not to worry though as I cracked out some mecano bits and have rigged up a small support arm that goes into the OEM support brace for the OEM system. To make it look a bit better I've decided to spray it metallics black so it is disguised in the engine bay  . It is drying the first coat just now (hence me on here). Once its had all it's coats and is on I'll get some photos up for you all to make fun of

Banter is absolutely fine but every single thread is being hijacked. Folk will just drift off elsewhere which is a shame as it is a mine field of information here.
