in a short block it's quite a lot of work, you have to machen the intermediate shaft rigth down to gain clearance, adjust the bottom of the cylineder to gain clearance, take 1.35 mm of the topp of the pistons and notch the skirts or use aftermarket pistons. at the end of the day you end up with an engine that the maths will say is suboptimal.
somewhat less in a tallblock, still ahve to some clearanceing iirc but much less think it's just the piston skirts and the crowns also need machening down 1.35 mm ( whitch is suboptimal )
if i were to do it id get aftermarket pistons with a compression hight 1.35 mm lower to save the macheing and weakening them and get 83.5mm ones ( if your going for displacement may as well get all of it.
