What engine you got?

I had same sort of issues with ADY tuther week not the same code though but R Johnny put me onto throttle body calibration and it did the trick. (Thanks RJ)
Was confusing me because ADY does not have ISV and all other bits involved tested fine
I will try and find the post...........

Nope 2E and ABF have an ISV, ADY/AGG have a different set up.
Have you done the T body and relays thing yet.....

ecu+ fuel pump relay, do a search for more info. I would try cleaning the TB thoroughly on both sides, especially around where the butterfly closes. disconnect battery for 1/2 hour to reset ecu so that the TB can re align itself, clear error codes + try again.

mine does this aswell 2.0 8v agg and I had taken off throttlebody and cleaned, also fuel pump relay fitted,  but didn't align tb, should I? From previous post looks like I need to disconnect bat for a bit then when I reconnect will it align it's self? Can u hear it doing it? Cheers

yeh disconnect battery for around 1/2 hour +when reconnected + ignition on but eninge not started should reset+ make a whiring sort of sound, have read that for the impatient ppl, you can bridge the +ve and -ve terminals to drain the remaining charge in the ecu, obviously be careful+ dont short across the battery terminals as this will likely do some damage to a component or to you.
