New mk2 owner!

Hello everyone,

I bought this car off a man who used to use this site, his name was Henry. Heres a few pics of my car













Its had a bit of work done to it.

Had its handling sorted out, front bilstein dampers with eibach springs, konis at the rear, A rear strut brace.

The engine is a 9a bottem end with kr head. Ive just bought a fourbranch manifold and looking at a slighty polished and skimmed head. After this ive been told itll be a good idea to get an inlet cam of around 260 degrees. Individual throttle bodies and then a mega squirt system. But i dont much info on the cams TB or the Megasquirt yet. Im ideally looking for around 180bhp or a bit more. I was hoping to buy something every so often untill ive got all the bits needed for an ideal n/a engine, but been told if i fit it all at once, it could cause teething problems?

Hi that's a smart looking mk2 what year is it? Is that a private plate? Good luck on the upgrades

Looking at your forum name I take it it's a 1990 either that or you're 20?

Thanks:) Im 19 its my birth year, and its a 1988 plate, no the plate isnt private, but im keen to find out if its worth anything. Some one called Elliott would like it lol!

Is that leather a custom job or are they all seats from something else?

Im no good with the sewing but im sure if it is custom i could find some old ladies to get going on it for me ha ha
