Great idea to fit a new belt, much safer.

Glad the engine worked out all ok.

Not much of an update really but bought a ko3s turbo today from TPS  the one fitted to the engine I bought is on its way out too according to my mechanic! Also the clutch is in pretty bad shape so now just ordered a G60 flywheel and VR6 clutch kit so I can do the conversion and ditch the DMF ... should have just broke the bloody thing and bought a supra or celica

Going to put the GLI lights on ebay to help pay towards getting her fixed ... every little counts

Cheers mate! means alot :afro:

With all that happened and more importantly how broke I now am, I cant afford adaptors for the AMG wheels, put them up on a local forum for swaps and been offered some nice 18'' alloys that are 8.5'' wide, going to look at them on sunday :afro:

Fair play mate when mine had gone I was pissed and I still had to fork out part costs even on warantee.
They said you're lucky we are doing it twice for you! I said You should have done it right the first time  :lipsrsealed:
It was a rapid Passat 2.5 did 140MPH no problem, but being diesel the viens just kept closing up. Got rid of it in the end, but I know what its like without the car for months.
I've got a 160PD with Garret goes well and defo better than the Ko4's IMO.
