Break it and buy an Audi

It's going to cost you at least 1K in bits unless you can find a complete engine for peanuts otherwise you have to factor in the cost of the replacement engine along with a reconned or new turbo, water pump, cambelt kit, clutch etc etc

How much will your guy charge you to replace the engine?

Picking up a new engine Saturday, 93k miles on the clock, then im going to swap all the good parts over from my engine as it just had new cambelt done etc and all the shiney bits. Going to ditch the DMF and replace it for a VR6 Clutch and 02a flywheel. while the engine is out going to have new water pump fitted and if there is time steam clean and paint the new block ... maybe.

Anyway bit of an up date, here is how the AMG wheels are looking, polished the dish and new centre caps! still on the fence wheter I should buy the adapters and run these wheels or sell them and powdercoat my RS4's black ...

Sweet news on the engine dude!

I like those wheels, I would run them personally, but get the RS4's powdercoated for use over the winter

+1 those wheels are sick and would be my choice

I wouldn't fancy running them over the winter though  :undecided:

Also great news about the engine, bet you can't wait to get it in!

It is your choice but how long has the cambelt been fitted as it is not wise to reuse them.
