Powder blue metallic GTI, A500 in stoke by the football stadium. Absolutely stunning! wish i'd got the cash to pay for "special" paint.

Seen a GT in this colour. It's called Georgia Blue. Stunning.
The other colour I like is Passion Red.
Both metallic.
I feel we are very restricted with the available colours for the GTi.

Yeah i've seen a gt in georgia blue too and it is nice but this was a more baby blue pearl, much paler than georgia, it was georgous and i'm very jealous!

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong; but I believe you can order any VW in any colour VW are doing at the time. Don't know how much extra it would cost though.

My only worry would be that if one had a prang, I can imagine all the excuses for the repair delays and the possibility of a slightly greater Insurance Premium due to possibly the extra cost for 'Special Paint'!

For that kind of money, you may as well buy a Golf R in the blue that is standard on it.

My only worry would be that if one had a prang, I can imagine all the excuses for the repair delays and the possibility of a slightly greater Insurance Premium due to possibly the extra cost for 'Special Paint'!

Cannot see why as any part will be painted at repair time and it will be simply looking up the paint code
