You know how to get the door cards off?

BTW the car is looking nice, have you had it machine polished?

Yeah mate done them loads of times. To be fair I don't know why I ask cos I had to take the passenger side front handle off the other day so I know perfectly well how to do it  :grin:

You don't need to remove the door cards, takes a max of 5 to 10 mins each side.

leave the drivers door one on - I found that the central locking "all open", or "all shut" linkages would freeze and put the windows down, and the doors open when you hit the remote fob.

VW have since restored the door and handle to normal condition!

Never had that problem and so long ad you keep access through the boot then no probe getting in even if the battery or Fobs go belly up. I changed my piece of p1ss and no door card removal necessary. When's the transplant happening?
