hammerite
« on: 23 April 2010, 16:54 »
I want to do a colour scheme on my car it's white and burgundy haha i hate the word burgundy but i do like the colour!

Basically what i want to know is can i spray normal hammerite on the VR6 inlet manifold or is it not capable of those heats? i have enough left over from the brake calipers

Cheers guys

Did mine with hammerite. The inlet manifold doesn't get that hot, not like the exhaust manifold anywho.

used hammerite paint on mine and its stood up nicely to the "fast heat" i often get  ... use a soft small brush if that makes sence - not a brittle on. i used a brittle one doin the writing in red (not show in pic) and it just made life harder.

I can't speak, my coolant bottle is so dirty you can't even see the level! I drained my coolant to change my thermostat yesterday and it was pretty much guess work putting it back in  :lipsrsealed:
