Erik do you do anything else to activate it or assign the pictures to the locations?

I have put the locations in a folder called destinations. I have also put some jpg's in the same folder but the Picture icon is greyed out!!!

Is this the web site you linked to about it because even translated I can't understand it.

You won't be saying that when you get your RNS510 installed with the Fiscon.

Okay here we go (I am to good for this world )

Press above link

1. Put your SD-card in the PC.

2. Make a new map and call it GPS-Pictures and a new map called Destinations on your SD card.

3. Make a few .jpg on your desktop call them Home, Work, Hotel etc.

4. In the nav com program fill out "INTERESSE" (=Interest) with e.g. your adress or postal code

5. In the nav com program fill out "ORT" (= Place) with e.g. London

6. Press "SUCHE STARTEN" (=start searching)

7. After finding your adress Press "BILD LADEN" (= load image)

8. Another screen pops up and Press "BLADEREN" (= browse)

9. Enter an image e.g Home.jpg from your desktop

10. Press "JETZ LADEN" (=load now)

11. Enter a titel e.g. Home

12. Enter "BESCHREIBUNG" (=info) e.g full adress, phone, opening hours

13. Press "FUR BILDNAVIGATION SPEICHERN" (= load as image navigation)

14. Now get your SD card out of the PC into the RNS

15. Enter Navigation and press new adress

16. Wait for the RNS to load the sd card will take a minute or so...from grey to black

17. Press SD card destinaton (or ask voice control)

AND BE AMAZED....

Now don't tell me I did not write this down "idiotproof" (because I am one myself)...

Thanks very much Erik for taking the trouble to do that.
I'll try it in a couple of hours as I'm just going out for a game of football. (must keep fit somehow!!)

Having a quick a look at your instructions, I think my difficulty was the site I was using,
http://vwlabs.com/ doesn't seem to give the opportunity to link pictures. I wonder why when its probably the same.

Cheers again,

Stevie

Good morning Erik.
Sorry to high jack this thread, but do you have a 2-3 mm gap along the bottom between your rear LEDs and the bodywork of your car?
Would be grateful for your help.

Hi Erik,

yeah thanks got it working this morning. Been at work the rest of the day so unable to let you know.
Seems to be a good feature that isn't used that much.
I still say some kind of download site would be good with all that info already set up.

Thanks for the help Erik .
