Wow you've lost me
Nope not trying to trip you up at all, better things to do in life.
Just remembered you saying it was going to VW for a wash then complaining about how poor it turned out. Just thought it strange how you now say it was "worth it".  You back on the house wine?!

Hi p3asa!

You are so right!

I had a problem because the Workshop Forman got all arsey with me for trying to explain to the nice Polish valeter how to use certain products I had supplied. He started sprouting all the Health and Safety crap at me, even though I was nowhere near a workshop and the only tool (apart from myself and the Polish guy) was a hose pipe and we were in the open under a bright blue sky. The little Hitler got ruder and ruder, but I said nothing. Just asked the Polish guy to stop and I left the premises.

I then put in a huge complaint about the Workshop Foreskin on Monday and got the Big Boss to call me and apologise. He said he had given the fellow a good telling off and I would, from now onwards, get a very personal service! O dear!

The other thing was that the Foreskin had also upset the Service Advisors who were truly helpful and supportive. It all sounds quite funny now, but I was pretty upset by such rudeness.

Not pished at all. Just had one glass of red with supper as I do every night.

I know you are not trying to trip me up and I like your style!

Cheers!

Take care.

AM.

I now don't let anyone wash the cars so I only have myself to blame.
With 3 in the household its a full-time job.
The neighbours are always commenting that I should be a valeter but I just smile and ignore them. Its not my fault I can easily take up to 8 hours just washing and waxing 1 of them

Anyway back on topic, there is definitely a layer of ash fallen. Our 2 black cars look terrible whereas the white car still looks clean although on closer inspection it has a very light covering.

Its definately being brought down with the rain, i.e. Last night it was raining here, when going to work this morning you can see where the modules of rain have dried there is a fine little circle of power left behind, and there's tonnes of them. Run your finger over them and its a fine powder.

Next person I see doing a rain dance gets it !

Not as crazy as I seemed to my neighbours when the Dentman was tapping away at my 'wings' yesterday! I think us Golf Mk6 owners are 'people with a very sensitive disposition'!

Strange, cant see a thing. Exactly what type of scratch should I be expecting from powder ?

Just finished raining, and guess what, more crap on the car. Another wash tomorrow.

Getting mighty pissed off with it now.

From what I've heard there is some rougher grit type sh!t comes down with it. But what I have felt is nothing but extremely fine power. If there's a risk of scratching so be it, I've seen nothing and if there is I'll use my Das-6 Pro and Blast the ba5tards away.
