Digital screen in dash not working

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem ? looked at a fuse but cant see any problems.
I am sure it used to have a digital screen in between both the rev counter and the speedometer, i have seen on this video

the orange lights... mine doesnt have them or they dont work ??

mine a 98 too and mine has not got the screen think its just the newer ones that have it
