VW offer their own remaps. They do not invalidate the warranty.. maybe that is what your dealer is taking about. I would get anything they say relating to remaps in writing.

Good point, about getting it in writing, thanks for the heads up !

I didn't realise that VW offer their own re-maps.....this was never mentioned....are these good value for money? Can anyone recommend them, though I expect that they're not cheap !

Anyone had a re-map done by VW....?

Sorry all, back to the topic, my newborn baby now has a name (I think, as I'm not completely satisfied with it)
For the time being, she is called Gandor-ina !!!

If the "he" is called the "beast" does "he" become a "she" when re-mapped??? I'm no sexist but surely the ultimate car must be a "she"??

I guess my car name came naturally...

Everyday me and my 3 collegues walk in our parkinggarage towards our cars...usually parked close together...

While we are walking I have everyday the same sentence for them....Let's wake up my monster...as I press the key... :cool:
