I only named mine as am1w made me
The mk1 was always just called 'the campaign' made it easier when i owned other GTIs at the same time.

Named 'the campaign' or just referred to as?

I refer to my Mk3 as 'the anni' or 'the Mk3' when trying to distinguish between the two cars parked in the garage or on the driveway...but did I forget I am male, and give it a name?
No.
Referred to.
Mk6 GTI  &  Mk1 GTI
34 years of GTI ownership.
