I must say that I am quite frankly shocked at the hostility towards us Mk 6 owners.

Whats with all the carp about "they dont venture out of their section much" - well maybe because I dont own a fcuking Mk3 or Mk1?  I used to, but I dont now.

I only named my car for the purpose of this thread really, and all this thread is, is a bit of fun, nothing more.  People that cant realise that, well - dont read the thread and get offensive or threatening.

Mk6, 3dr, DSG, DBP.

Really Really disturbing when someone threaten's to damage a fellow member's car cos they dont like what's been posted!

Well said.
We Mk6 owners are happy people most of the time until we get a chip on our bonnet!
Our cars make us happy and contented.
We love a bit of fun but are also serious when we need to be. Nothing wrong with that.
The guy's on this Mk6 forum are really ace and very helpful towards one another.
They consistently present interesting ideas and helpful information.
I am proud and honoured to be a forum member on the Mk6 column.

It happens to all cars though. The Mk5 got it a few years ago.

Why would you?
I don't go into the Mk1, Mk2, Mk4 or Mk5 sections for the reason I don't own one.

I would go in the Mk1 section...but it just upsets me. I want one. Badly.

Looks like I missed what all the fuss was about, In my adult driving life I've always wanted to own a GOLF and yes I'm probably old enough to have owned a new MK1 at the time, just never had the money. Almost everyone thinks the latest model of the car is the best if they own it, but they may hanker after the old one, I was like this with my bikes the new one was always better in some ways it just lacked a little something. In time the MK6 will be old and the MK7 guys will be looking down their nose at all the other models.

Peace MK1-5 embrace the future

Quick reason for Sheep is.. the reg I had on was SH**EPE, my team mates call me weslh to wind me up though I'm from Newcastle upon Tyne.. (the next big thing in the premiership)AGAIN
