Looks like you got a great deal but not keen on it to be honest.

+1... good deal. But imo they are very ugly. not to mention made me feel very sick whilst inside one for some reason :embarassed:

In my opinion, you don't buy a current Porsche because it looks pretty, has a nice interior, lots of toys, illuminated air vents or any such other c*ap....you buy it for how it makes you feel when you drive it....and preferably drive it hard.

...and it'll hit spots no Golf can even dream of.

So fair play...enjoy it.

I agree. which is why I dont think I would have one as a daily. Which probably what makes the golf such a hit with so many people.. its a nice balance of fun and practicality.

People try to convince themselves you can run certain Porsches as daily drivers...but it's a struggle.
The reliability isn't all it's cracked up to be - and the warranty costs just stupid.
You daren't leave it anywhere for fear of vandalism...
Nobody lets you out of junctions...
You can't get into some car parks due to long overhangs and low splitters...
You can't tip the seats down and throw rubbish in the back for the tip run...
You can barely get the weeks food shopping in them...

Other drivers seem to find coffee beans to shake in their left hand as you overtake them too, I noticed.

Sublime as a driving tool. Just not perfect as an everyday car for most.
