Thanks guys! I'm still overjoyed after getting the car yesterday.  I drove about 230km yesterday. It had 10km when I got it. Car is still spotless. Love the nice weather but I've heard there is going to be ash fallout today. Damn it. :laugh:

I never got to try a GTI before I ordered one. They are very rare here in Norway. I haven't seen a single mk6 GTI yet except my own and I live in a city. Makes the car feel even more special. It exceeded my expectations. :)

I'm planning on maybe tinting the front side windows to match the rear. Anyone how dark I should go to match them?

Also I can't seem to find the comfort blinking even though the manual says there is one.

Supoib :smiley: You might be annoyed that the ash is preventing you from taking your new GTI out, but it's keeping me stuck in Tenerife and I can't bleedin' well get home :embarassed:

Depends what the regulations in your country permit.
In the UK I'm sure the front windows have to allow 70% of light through.
Which is the standard that comes out the factory so in effect you can't tint the front.
However loads of folk do it and are never pulled.

The difference in tint between the front and rear windows is really very stylish.
Don't do the tinting as it really cheapens the car's looks and says not very nice things about the owner!
But if you think you are really ugly, then do it! :evil:

Congrat's on the new car. Nice in siliver. IMO I wouldn't tint the front windows, as it looks perfect as it is.
