Premium Carkit...can you enter own ringtones?

And just when you thought you figured everything out (sd-card pic navigation, police flashlight warnings POI's etc) you are stuck with 5 or 6 DAFT ringtones of the VW Premium carkit......

For years I am used to answer to a funny selfmade ringtone based on the Wilhelm Tell Ouverture ....any whizz out there how I can get my ringtone "in there".......

I am sure VW Premium users are feeling equally sad about this.......

Which version module do you have?  the A or B verrsion premium module?  I will be swapping mine out for a C version tonights so there maybe more options on that,

When I swapped from A to B the new module had more ringtones similar to whats on my phone.

Hi Darren.

If it works with the Crackberry, then it is good enough for me.
I just don't want the microphone on the 'A' pillar as is necessary for good speech clarity with the FISCON.

I'll take your advice on this.

I have the latest greatest......it saids something like UVW on the MFD...
It gives me about 5 options...somethings like: 1. Ring Ring 2. Nice Bells 3. Future Bells 4. Orchestral Bells 5. Easy Listening....and BACK that is it !!!!!!

I get/chosen an antique ring ring tone which is the least worse of the lot.....

BTW I am almost pretty sure that the Iphone as well as the Blackberry are not gonna work with the latest Premium VW kit...(In Holland). 

But mind you the dealer told me it was not gonna work with HTC so I gave my NEW HTC to my wife and bought a Nokia E-71 (400 euro) indeed that worked immediately...............................................I tried out of curiosity....so did the HTC.....

it works on Blackberry 9700, am using it.... but sometimes it does not connect so you need to Hard reset the blackberry to get it connected again, this usually happens if you turn ur car on for few minutes and turn it off and the blackberry is still connecting... so the Blackberry goes into lost mode and will not connect again until you hard reset.... hard reset = remove the battary when the Blackberry is ON or press ALT+Right Shift+Delete....
