I sold a set with tyres for £50 a few years ago.  I can't be bothered trying to get top dollar.  I'd rather sell stuff at a bargain price and not get mucked about.

I know what your saying but sadly some people need some cash back to purchase the replacement.

Damn I have a spare set like that in my shed. Not quite as mint though, and the lips need polishing. I was going to get them stripped as well and painted back original.

i'm not leaving the vw scene, dad just don't like the golf anymore and he wants something different, when i eventually get a job i'll either be in a mk2 polo breadvan or a mk4 golf 1.4

get the polo... you could make that a fun motor, mk4 golf is too heavy for a 1.4.
