Hi Mate,

The highline display has 2 "screens", there is a number in the top right corner to tell you whet screen your on.

Screen 1 resets its self after 2 hours of the ignition being turned off & screen 2 resets its self afteer a couple of thousand miles and gives a better overall avarage.

If you feel under the indicator stalk you will feel a button, press that and it should go to "screen 2" and again for screen 1.
Ithink.

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

Or if you have a MFSW, press the OK button to scroll between 1 and 2.

Mine also resets itself each journey. From memory I think that the two options I have are instant and the average for the journey. I often thought that it would be helpful to have an average over a number of journeys.

You have problems there I think as option 2 should be the average over a good few thousand miles. Option 1 is your current journey (resets if car hasnt moved for 2 hours). Option 2 should NOT be resetting itself (unless you reset it)

When in option 1 you can flick through instant MPG and current MPG for the journey. Have a proper read of the manual as its all in there.
