Do you give your GTI a name?

OK, been mentioned before quite a while ago.

Loads of new GTI/R owners now though.

What do you call him/her??

Mine's Wolfie after the place he was born and the dangly toy from the Wolfsburg visit on the mirror.


And he's a him.
Apparantly some GTIs are girls?? :huh:

I have yet to decide whether mine is a boy or a girl.

If it is a boy he will be Wolfgang meaning 'advancing wolf'.

If it is girl she will be Heidi meaning 'noble, serene, exalted nature, kind'.

I might even call her Linda which means 'beautiful, sweet, noble, pretty'.
I am also thinking of Linda Lovelace who was my onetime neighbour!

I am reserving these names! :grin:

It is going to be Wolfgang or Linda.
I will decide after I get her/him washed and dried tomorrow. :grin:

Wolfgang is a perfect GTI name. Love it.


I have had cars called Brum, Lucy, Hermann and Fred before now, non of them GTIs though.
